The old school

Barney Views Cottage has a long history which is part of what makes it so special. From 1918 to 1962, before being transformed into a private residence, the cottage was Barney View School. The cottage is nestled next to a small historic pine forest which was planted by the students who attended the school. Today this small, yet spectacular forest is abundant with native birds, yellow-tailed black cockatoo's stop by on occasion and frolic in the forest canopy.
